Personal data, which are considered special under Article 6 of the PDPL, such as race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect, or other beliefs, appearance and clothing, association, foundation, or union membership, criminal conviction and security measures, as well as biometric and genetic data, can be processed without the explicit consent of the relevant person in cases stipulated by the law. However, personal data related to health and sexual life are processed as a rule only with the explicit consent of the relevant person.
